INDIVIDUAL GIFTS

Approximately 35% of the annual operating budget is derived from ticket sales. Contributed incomes supply the remaining 65%. Sources of contributed income are corporations, foundations, government and individuals. Individual donors provide a significant portion of the total contributed income.

All new and increased donations matched by Richard Mather Fund. A generous grant from the Richard Mather Fund will match your donation if your are a new contributor, or, if you are a previous donor and you increase your contribution.

Contributors at the $75 level and above are acknowledged in the Syracuse Stage program for one year. An acknowledgement of all contributions will be mailed to you for your tax records. All contributions are tax deductible as allowed by law.

If your company is listed on our  sponsors page  your contribution to Stage may be matched. Please check with your human resource department for the appropriate forms.

Benefits for Individual Giving

Benefits for individual giving start at the Friends level $75. Individuals who contribute at this level receive benefits and are recognized in our playbill for one year. Contributions at higher levels receive benefits that include:  

·         Invitation to the Annual Season Kick-off 

·         No handling fees on single ticket purchased 

·         Use of VIP line for ticketing  

·         Beverage coupons

The Circles Membership

The Circles members represent the theatre’s largest source of individual contributors. Their generous gifts have given birth to one of the finest professional theatres in the country. We invite you to join this special group with a minimum annual gift of $1,500. Benefits include the following:

Directors Circle ($1,500 - $2,799)

• One gift certificate for two tickets to any performance in the current season
• 8 parking passes to the Madison-Irving garage
• Pre-show or post-show drink passes compliments of Syracuse Stage
• Invitation to a special Circles’ donor recognition event
• Sponsor one performance of a play of your choice, with additional recognition in the program for the selected performance date
